Extreme Triathlon
Born from the Desire to Go Further
The idea for Serrano Man was born from a desire to reconnect with the friends we made through triathlon, who are now scattered far and wide. Our aim was to bring them together in the heart of São Paulo, in the beautiful city of Serra Negra on the Circuito das Águas Paulista.
This region, home to several Serra da Mantiqueira mountains, features roads with excellent asphalt for cycling. The swimming event takes place at the Santa Lídia Reservoir, which houses the Triathlon Club founded by the organizers of SerranoMan. From there, dirt roads lead to the highest point of Serra Negra, where the extreme challenge concludes.
To promote our sport and showcase the beauty of the region, SerranoMan also contributes significantly to the local economy. The event brings guests to hotels and inns, restaurants and cafes, and attracts sponsorship from local producers, shopkeepers, and service providers, thereby celebrating and supporting the region.
We aim to celebrate life, health, and friendship. The highlight of the event comes after the competition ends, with a grand party for all athletes, their families, race staff, and the entire organization. Expect hours of laughter and camaraderie, marking a perfect end to the sporting year.
Get ready to experience not just a race, but an unforgettable event where sport, nature, and human connections converge at Serrano Man.
